Indonesia is a country of incredible diversity. From its rich biodiversity and breathtaking landscapes to its unique cultures and warm-hearted communities, Indonesia is home to millions of people and countless stories.
But behind the beauty is another story—one about opportunity.
With a population of more than 290 million people, Indonesia continues to grow rapidly. Yet, many communities still face challenges in finding stable and meaningful employment. For us, sustainability has never been only about protecting the environment. It is also about creating opportunities for people.
At Bali Reclaimed Timber, we believe that every piece of reclaimed wood has a story.
The marks, textures, nail holes, weathering, and natural imperfections found in reclaimed timber are reminders of where the wood has been and the life it has lived. When we carefully recover and transform this timber into something new, we are not only reducing the demand for newly harvested wood—we are giving valuable materials a second life. But there is another kind of transformation happening behind the scenes.
Every reclaimed timber project requires people: craftsmen, carpenters, finishers, drivers, warehouse teams, project coordinators, and many others who work together to turn old timber into something beautiful and useful again.
This is where sustainability becomes personal.
What started in Bali has continued to grow.
As demand for reclaimed timber has increased, so has our team. Since 2023, more than 200 local people have worked with us, and our operations have expanded beyond Bali to communities in Lombok and Java. For every project we take on, there is a network of people behind it.
Someone carefully selects the timber. Someone restores it. Someone cuts and shapes it. Someone gives it its final finish. Someone transports it to its destination. And someone brings all these pieces together to create the final product.
These may seem like small steps, but together they create something much bigger: local employment, skills development, income, and opportunities for families and communities.

When people hear the word sustainability, they often think about forests, carbon emissions, recycling, or reducing waste. Those things matter.
But we believe sustainability should also include people.
A truly sustainable business should contribute to the communities around it. It should create opportunities, develop local skills, and help people build a better future for themselves and their families.
That is why every reclaimed timber project we work on carries a meaning beyond the wood itself.
When you choose reclaimed timber for your home, hotel, restaurant, villa, or commercial project, you are helping support a system that gives existing materials another purpose while creating work for local communities.
When you collaborate with Bali Reclaimed Timber, you become part of this story.
We believe sustainability is about more than saving materials—it’s about creating opportunities for people.
By choosing Bali reclaimed timber, you give old wood a new purpose while supporting local craftsmanship and employment across Bali, Lombok, and Java. As we grow, we remain committed to growing with our communities, not just around them.
Because sustainability is not only about what we save, but who we help along the way.
Thank you for being part of our journey, one reclaimed timber project at a time.
